Overview
Controlled CO2 incubation for cell and tissue culture with precise humidity management, hygienic chamber design and laboratory connectivity options.

O2 (only with T6 option)
Anaerobic O2 control via nitrogen inlet. Zirconium oxide sensor with integrated monitoring and error display. Filtered N2 supply. Adjustment precision: 0.1 %. Setting range: 1–20 % O2.

Temperature
Large-area multi-zone all-round heating with additional door, seal and rear-wall heating. Setting range: +20 to +50 °C. Operational range: from 5 °C above ambient up to +50 °C. Built-in sterilisation programme: 60 min at 180 °C (sensors can remain in place). Setting accuracy: 0.1 °C. Spatial variation at +37 °C: ±0.3 K. Temporal fluctuation at 37 °C: ±0.1 K.

Humidity
Passive humidification via integrated water tank with condensate return; humidity limitation by Peltier element. Option K7: active closed-loop humidity control with capacitive sensor, micro-dosing pump for hot-steam humidification and diaphragm pump dehumidification. Accuracy: 0.5 % RH. Setting range: 40–98 % RH and rh‑Off.

CO2
Dual-beam NDIR CO2 control with pressure-compensated measurement and integrated monitoring. Filtered CO2 supply. Temporal fluctuation: ±0.2 %. Setting range: 0–20 % CO2.

Safety
Power-failure behaviour: manual and program modes with differentiated handling depending on outage duration; parameters remain stored. Temperature monitoring by dual Pt1000 sensors (DIN Class A) with mutual monitoring and automatic takeover. Visual and acoustic alarms.

Standard equipment
Standard option: door-open detection (V5). Factory calibration certificates available (Standard / Option K7 / Option T6). Included accessories: CO2 connection set, hose with coupling and clamp; water tank B38737; water tank with connection hose; stored sterilisation programme 60 min at +180 °C. Door: fully insulated stainless-steel door with 2-point compression lock. Inner door: glass with 8 mm Ø port for gas sampling. Internals: 2 perforated stainless-steel shelves (max. 9).
