OverviewMetaMedicsVR Virtual Reality Simulator is a standalone VR training platform for health sciences. Everything runs directly on the headset with bare-hand tracking: no controllers, no PC and no calibration required. Institutions deploy ready-to-use clinical simulations and configure every scenario from a web-based editor.
The simulation catalogue- First aid and CPR: the full protocol, from consciousness check to AED use, with real-time measurement of compression depth, rate and hand position.
- 3D human anatomy: explorable anatomical systems on a life-size body, with guided explanations in context.
- ECG: electrode placement on a virtual patient, a printed rhythm strip and guided interpretation, always starting from a clinical case.
- Long-term care: guided care protocols (feeding, hygiene, mobility, nutrition, medication) in a virtual residence.
- Disaster response and triage: mass-casualty scenarios applying the START protocol, developed with the University of Barcelona.
- Clinical communication: difficult patient conversations practised out loud with AI-driven avatars.
Training modesGuided mode with step-by-step visual cues, exam mode for evaluation with real-time analytics, and classroom projection so the instructor can display the headset view for group teaching and debrief.
Configure and evaluate from the webEvery scenario is configured from a web-based editor: patient type, setting, complications and language. Sessions are recorded and scored against the protocol, and results are available to the instructor.
Who it is forHealth sciences programmes, nursing and paramedic training, hospital staff refreshers, vocational and CNA programmes, civil protection and first-responder organisations.
