Description

The Estradiol Double Antibody Radio Immunaoassay Kit is intended for the measurement of the unconjugated form of E2 (17B-Estradiol) in a sample. Kits are manufactured once per month and have an 8 week shelf life. Sample Volume: 50 ul Product Description The Estradiol Double Antibody RIA Kit is intended for the measurement of the unconjugated form of E2 (17B-Estradiol) in a sample. In the ovulating woman, circulating E2 originates predominantly from cohorts of maturing follicles and ultimately from a single follicle recruited for ovulation and the corpus luteum it forms. E2 concentrations are highly variable depending on the phase of the menstrual cycle. In the postmenopausal woman, E2 originates from extraglandular conversion of androgens and circulates in low, noncyclic concentrations. In prepubertal children and in the male, circulating E2 concentrations are low and non-cyclic. Usage Statement FDA cleared for In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) use in the United States. CE Marked for IVD use outside the United States. Key Applications Endocrinology Specifications Diagnostic Platforms - RIA Disease Screened - E2 Evaluation - Quantitative
