Short description
Compact Economy muffle furnaces for laboratory use with a dual-shell stainless steel housing, quartz-glass protected heating elements and fast heat-up performance. Available in five workspace volumes (1–24 L) and equipped with an R8 single-temperature controller; designed for defined laboratory processes up to 1100 °C.

• Tmax 1100 °C (recommended long-term working temp for long dwells: 1050 °C)
• Two-sided heating via heating elements protected in quartz glass tubes

Additional equipment

• Chimney, chimney with fan or catalytic converter (not for LE 1 and LE 2)
• Charging rack with closed or perforated trays for two-level loading including holder for inserting/removing trays (max. temp. 800 °C). Max. loading weight per layer: LE 14/11 = 2 kg, LE 24/11 = 3.5 kg

Notes
1) Recommended working temperature for processes with longer dwell times is 1050 °C.
2) External dimensions vary when furnace is equipped with additional equipment; dimensions on request.
3) Heating time = empty, closed furnace up to Tmax − 100 K (connected to 230 V 1/N/PE).
4) Temperature uniformity ±5 K with closed fresh-air inlet in empty workspace according to DIN 17052-1 at working temperatures above 800 °C.
5) Connected load refers to the standard furnace and may increase with additional equipment.
