Overview
This weighing muffle furnace is delivered with an integrated base, a ceramic plunger with base plate and a VCD software package for determination and documentation of combustion loss. It is designed for laboratory combustion-loss analysis of sludges, waste and similar materials. During the process the software records temperature and weight loss and documents the combustion-loss value.

Process and measurement
The system continuously records temperature and mass change so the combustion loss (difference between initial charged mass and combustion residue) is documented together with the temperature profile. The VCD software provides monitoring, documentation and process control. One of four compatible scale modules can be mounted in the integrated base (scales ordered separately).

Operation notes and technical specifications
Recommended working temperatures for long dwell times: 1000 °C (L(T) 9/11/SW) and 1100 °C (L(T) 9/12/SW). Scale modules are supplied separately and are mounted in the integrated base. Connected load and external dimensions may vary with options.

Heating times refer to an empty closed furnace up to Tmax −100 K (connected to 230 V 1/N/PE). Connected load refers to standard configuration and may increase with fitted options.
