The Adult Brain phantom is a realistic training tool designed to replicate an average adult brain. It is manufactured from tissue-mimicking materials compatible with Ultrasound, MRI and X-ray/CT imaging. The phantom's tissues exhibit realistic T2 relaxation times, making it especially suitable for T2-weighted MRI protocols. Very good results can also be obtained with Proton Density imaging. T1-weighted imaging is realistic within a range of approximately 100 ms. The phantom includes anatomical components such as a tumor, brain white matter and grey matter to provide a comprehensive training and testing platform for clinical and research workflows.
