Description

The Dia-Cool cooling pouch by Kaio-Dia preserves up to 4 insulin pens or 8 vials at a safe temperature during transport without electricity, using an evaporative water-cooling system. Lightweight, robust and available in a wide range of prints and colors, it is designed for easy transport and simple maintenance.

Features of the Dia-Cool:
  • Cooling pouch for insulin: up to 12°C temperature reduction for up to 48 hours.
  • Operates only with cold water. NO frozen element, no electricity or battery required.
  • Compact, lightweight, reusable and long-lasting.
  • Heavy-duty zipper for intensive daily use.
  • Available in multiple prints and contemporary colors.
  • CE marked and compliant with the EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR 2017/745).

  • Dia-Cool Size 1: 19 x 6.5 cm – for 1 insulin pen
  • Dia-Cool Size 2: 19.3 x 9.8 cm – up to 2 pens or 2 vials
  • Dia-Cool Size 3: 19 x 13.2 cm – up to 3 insulin pens
  • Dia-Cool Size 4: 19 x 15.5 cm – up to 4 pens or 8 vials
  • Dia-Cool Size 5: 15.2 x 13.2 cm – up to 4 vials or eye-drop bottles
  • Dia-Cool Size 6: 13.2 x 13.2 cm – up to 3 vials or eye-drop bottles

How does the Dia-Cool work?
  • Before first use, immerse the cooling insert of the Dia-Cool in water for one hour.
  • After the initial charge, recharge time is approximately 20 minutes.
  • Dry and replace the cooling module (cool-pack) into the pouch.
  • The pouch keeps insulin cool for around 48 hours depending on ambient temperature; simply re-immerse the cooling insert in cold water to recharge.
  • Use only with cold water (contains hydrogel beads; no active refrigerant requiring electricity).
