OverviewTempus1800® Fero accelerates transport of clinical samples from collection instruments to analysis platforms. The modular device is pre-analytically optimised for clinical laboratories and enables customised automated workflows between connected laboratory areas, reducing transport delays and total turnaround time.
Integration with SARSTEDT HSSThe Tempus1800® Fero sending module pairs with the SARSTEDT HSS (High Speed Sorter) to provide configurable routing. The HSS gripper can deliver tubes to one or two Tempus1800® sending units to direct samples to specific laboratory zones (for example EDTA to haematology). Samples are received in a Tempus1800® receiving tray or via the Tempus1800® connection module for direct feed to bulk loaders or analysis lines.
Optimise your processesAutomating pre-analytical transport reduces manual handling, limits bottlenecks and supports higher throughput. Faster and targeted sample delivery contributes to improved laboratory productivity and quicker clinical decision-making.
