Pre-assembled with two sutures, Fixit® anchors are pre-mounted on a single-use screwdriver. These resorbable threaded anchors feature an easy-to-insert design, with a nose that makes it easy to find the pre-hole. Fixit® has a high tensile strength. It is available in sizes 4.5, 5.5 and 6.5 mm. Fixit® is also available in a Knotless version. Fixit® Knotless is used with a reusable suture-passer. Fixit® Knotless enables sutures to be passed quickly and easily through the anchor and screwdriver. The T-shaped screwdriver holds sutures in place, controls implant insertion and facilitates axial rotation. It can be reused more than 250 times. The model is simple, fast and reproducible, allowing up to 2 sutures to be inserted. Materials Fixit® anchors are made with Duosorb®, a biocomposite material composed of : 30% β-TCP and 70% PLDLLA. This balance between strength and elasticity makes Duosorb® both osteoconductive and bioabsorbable, and its high β-TCP content limits inflammatory responses.
