Description: SBM has created a specific line of products called BIO 1®, designed to safely and effectively fill bone voids or defects due to bone injuries or surgical procedures. This substitute is osteoconductive, bioabsorbable and fully biocompatible. Indication: - Sticks, cubes, and blocks: use in benign bone tumors or cysts and fractures - Macroporous cubes: use in bone graft harvesting surgical procedures - Granules: use in benign bone tumors or cysts, chin osteotomy and spondylodesis Material: Biosorb: Beta -Tricalcium Phosphate over 95 % pure Specificity: - Sticks, blocks and cubes: Porosity: 45% - Mechanical strength: >15MPa. - Granules: Porosity: 60% - Macroporous: Porosity: 70% Adapted for pediatric use: Sticks, cubes and blocks for Benign bone tumors or cysts, Granules for genioplasty, Granules for Spondylodesis
