The Laparoscopic Training Simulator LTS-1080 is a medical training system designed to develop and assess basic laparoscopic skills. The system captures images inside the biomimetic training box using an adjustable 1080P camera and displays them on an external LED monitor. Interchangeable modules and simulated instruments reproduce tissue feel and common laparoscopic tasks for structured hands-on training.
Specification of Laparoscopic Surgery Skill Training Simulator
Hardware: ≥24-inch 1080P HD LED display (16:9); biomimetic training box with adjustable LED illumination and Type-C interface; 500 × 520 mm tabletop with 150 mm lift platform (25 kg capacity, 220V/50Hz); 1080P 0-degree adjustable-focus camera with USB and HDMI outputs; storage case for modules and instruments; four simulated laparoscopic instruments included (hole-groove grasping forceps, articulating separation forceps, etc.).
Technical: camera supports 360° rotation and manual focus; training box features drawers and flip covers for module access; split-type trolley with universal wheels; training modules use silicone skin and intestinal tubes to simulate tissue mechanics.
Training modules
FLS bundling module: extracorporeal tying and trapping, insertion and intracorporeal knot-tying practice.
Hand–eye coordination module: handling+pulling, threading and bead-clamping submodules to train precision and instrument control.
FLS handling+pulling: transfer triangular silicone pieces between posts using separation and grasping forceps to train speed and coordination.
Bead clamping: pick, sort and place beads of different colors and sizes onto designated pegs to train targeting and coordination.
Wiring module: pass and retrieve a wire through multiple trap layers to practice fine instrument handling and dexterity.
Suturing and knot-tying: train needle-holder use, needle entry positioning and various knots (single, square, surgical); supports continuous and interrupted intracorporeal sutures.
Titanium clip module: apply titanium clips laparoscopically to clamp vessels and ducts in complex scenarios (simulated vessel length ≥10 cm).
Intestinal anastomosis: train multiple anastomosis techniques for transected intestinal segments.
Cutting skills: practice clinical laparoscopic cutting techniques and tissue handling.
