The Laparoscopic Surgery Training Simulator Model LTS-1080 is a medical training system designed to develop and assess basic laparoscopic skills. The system captures intra-box images via an adjustable high-definition camera and displays them on an external LED monitor. The biomimetic training box and interchangeable modules reproduce tissue feel and common laparoscopic tasks for structured skills training.

  • FLS (Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery) bundling module — basic extracorporeal tying and trapping exercises, insertion into the box and intracorporeal tying practice.
  • Hand–eye coordination module — includes handling+pulling, threading and bead-clamping submodules to train precision and instrument control.
  • FLS handling + pulling module — move triangular silicone pieces between posts using separation and grasping forceps to train speed and coordination.
  • Clamp bead module — pick beads of varying color and size, sort and place them on designated pegs to train targeting and hand–eye coordination.
  • Wiring module — pass a wire through multiple trap layers and extract it to practice fine instrument handling and dexterity.
  • Suturing and knotting module — train correct needle-holder technique, needle entry positioning, and multiple knot types (single knot, square knot, surgical knot); supports continuous and interrupted intracorporeal suturing.
  • Titanium clip module — practice applying titanium clips laparoscopically to clamp vessels and ducts in simulated complex environments (simulated vessel length ≥ 10 cm).
  • Intestinal anastomosis module — multiple methods for training anastomosis of severed intestinal segments.
  • Cutting skill module — practice clinical laparoscopic cutting techniques and tissue handling.
