The whole-body plethysmograph (WBP) for Non-human Primates is developed by Tow-Int is capable of measuring respiratory parameters of animals in the conscious state and under unrestrained conditions, such as respiratory rate, moisture volume, Airway hyperresponsiveness (AHR) test, etc. WBP avoids the trauma of aerosols tube incision and the effects of anesthesia, and the whole experimental process is simpler, specifically suited research on drugs and their reactivities, pharmacology and toxicology studies of respiratory drugs, particularly suitable for a large badge subject for an early rapid screening test, suitable for long-term follow-up research and repeated screening.
-Unrestrained, Non-invasive, Animal in Conscious State
-Same as WBP for Small Animals
Applications on Respiratory System:
-Research on various respiratory diseases, such as asthma, pulmonary fibrosis, lung injury, ARDS, lung cancer, etc.
-Safety pharmacology: the effect of drugs
-Sleep apnea: monitor animal hypopnea, obstructive apnea, etc.
-Environmental Toxicology: The impact of environmental pollutants
-Inhalation Toxicology: Toxic effects of toxic substances
-High altitude medicine: the influence of high altitude environment
-WBP-P: For Non Human Primates like Macaques, Crab-eating Macaque
-WBP-T: For Rabbits
