Reliable tablet orientation with SmartAlign™
The ST50 reliably handles round, oblong and oval tablet shapes as standard without requiring modifications or special options. The patented SmartAlign™ system, combined with SmartLift™ technology, ensures precise tablet orientation and accurate measurements. The ST50 can be fitted with a custom carousel for special applications.

Intuitive and user‑friendly with EasyTouch™
Icon‑based navigation and logical menu structures with intelligent operator assistance provide fast test setup, short training time and error‑free data entry. Available in more than 10 languages and featuring complete user administration with different access levels.

Video monitoring
The ST50 can be optionally fitted with video monitoring to automatically record the tablet orientation during measuring. A separate video clip is created for each sample and saved as a standard video file including tablet ID# and time stamp to support OOS investigations and analysis of breaking characteristics.

Configurable reporting
The ST50 offers two configurable test protocol templates that can be adapted to individual requirements – from comprehensive reports with graphics to basic reporting formats. Test protocols are automatically printed or exported at the end of a test run. Additional reports, e.g. calibration reports, are also available.

Data management the SmartWay™
Network the ST50 without requiring a PC beside the tester. Test runs can be routed to one or multiple instruments as needed; completed runs are forwarded to q-doc® data management software for central handling. Integration with q-doc® enables consolidated batch reports across multiple physical tests.

Advanced qualification
Using a fully traceable and certified high‑precision load cell, the entire hardness range can be qualified with the DQD™ Dynamic Qualification Device. Automated routines allow adjustment and verification of multiple points without static reference weights. Static verification is also possible with the patented SmartCal™ system.
