The unique ceramic housing guarantees biocompatibility. Application The temperature logger is ideal for a variety of studies on both free-ranging and captive animals where a detailed temperature profile is needed, including for: baseline measurements, measuring immune response to infection, testing vaccine efficacy and safety pharmacology and measuring physiological changes and circadian rhythm. Stress-free measurements As the probe measures temperature automatically it is especially useful when a comprehensive data set throughout the research is needed with no disturbance to the animal. Detailed temperature profile Due to its long battery life the logger can be used for long term, as well as short term studies with short intervals (down to once every second), giving the user a detailed temperature profile; the logger has a battery life of up to 5 years when sampling at 10 minute intervals.
