Product Details High performing data storage tag with long battery life and high pressure tolerance. DST centi-TD is a long-life and reliable temperature and depth data storage tag, well suited for long term behavior and migration studies of fish and marine animals. This long life data storage tag can store up to 524,000 measurements in total with time stamp for each measurement. Batteries storing at 10 minute interval can last up to 9 years. Size: 46 mm x 15 mm; Weight: 19 grams. Possible to set the tag to shift between different recording intervals within the measuring period. Application Designed for migration, dive and feeding behavioral studies of fish and marine animals. Enables scientists to gain valuable information on migration routes and behavioural patterns over a long period of time. Can be implanted or attached externally. Depth sensors from shallow to deep water Can be calibrated to 3,000 meters, with tolerance up to 3,500 meters. Available ranges: 50m, 100m, 270m, 800m, 1500m, 3000m. Fish implantation or external attachment Designed as an implantable tag for the abdominal cavity or for external attachment using a tag holder kit. User defined text on housing for recapture purposes Tags can have customized text for recapture purposes, especially for commercially fished species. Spaghetti tag for spotting fish Yellow plastic tube (spaghetti tag) can be attached to make tagged fish easier to spot. Using the logger Designed for ease of use from setup to data retrieval. Supported by SeaStar software and Communication Box (purchased separately). Logger is programmed via Communication Box connected to PC; user sets start time, date, and sampling interval. Supports single or multiple intervals (up to 7 different intervals). Software calculates memory fill and battery consumption based on settings. After recapture, data is uploaded to software and can be exported; time series data includes time stamps.
