Description

The Voliron® SARS-CoV-2 and Influenza A/B Multiplex Real-Time PCR Kit is a multiplex qPCR kit by designed to detect SARS-CoV-2 specific RdRp, Influenza A specific M1 and Influenza B specific NS2 genes in upper respiratory tract samples. Detection Target: The presence of SARS-CoV-2 is determined by the presence of the RdRpgene in the ROX channel, the presence of Influenza A is obtained from the FAM channel bythe presence of the Matrix (M1) gene, and the presence of Influenza B from the Cy5 channelby the presence of the Nonstructural 2 (NS2) gene. Also, the HEX signal will inform aboutthe presence of human Ribonuclease P as reaction inhibition and sample control. Compatible Device: Voliron® can be run on all RT-qPCR devices with FAM, HEX, ROX and Cy5 channels. It has been checked that it works smoothly with the Biorad CFX96, Roche LightCycler 480, Qiagen Rotor Gene, Applied Biosystem QuantStudio, Inovia Lab GenX-4, Heal Force x960, Unima 96 devices. Sensitivity: Voliron® SARS-CoV-2 and Influenza A/B RT-PCR kit is designed for high sensitivity. It can detect as low as 41 copies per mL. Specificity: The primer probe sets used in the Voliron® SARS-CoV-2 and Influenza A/B RT-PCR kit are specially designed for binding to SARS-CoV-2, Influenza A and B viruses with 100% sensitivity. All variants are routinely tested in silico to ensure the effectiveness of the kits against SARS-CoV-2 variants emerging worldwide.
