The Black Belt Type Cervical Spine Retractor is a modular, self-retaining retraction system designed for anterior and posterior cervical spine surgery, especially anterior cervical discectomy and fusion (ACD). Jointed Frame–Flexible belt-like arms that can be positioned precisely around the surgical field, allowing minimal incision size while still providing wide exposure. Multiple Blades–Interchangeable blades in various lengths and shapes (straight, curved, toothed, blunt) to adapt to different patient anatomies. Self-Retaining–Once positioned, it holds tissue in place without the surgeon needing to maintain tension. Radiolucent Materials–Many versions are made from titanium or have components that don’t interfere with X-rays, CT, or intraoperative fluoroscopy. Lightweight–Reduces fatigue for the surgical team and makes positioning easier. Compatibility–Can be combined with other spinal instrumentation systems.
