Description

The MCS-757730 is a 8.27” (210 mm) , 5.4 MJ (7.5 MHU) maximum anode heat content, rotating anode insert. This insert is specifically designed for CT Scanners, with capability of X axis and/or Z-axis steering and adjustable focal spot sizing. This design needs to be coupled with Varex Imaging’s Tube Control Unit (TCU) to control focal spot steering and focal spot size. The insert features a 7° tungsten-rhenium facing on molybdenum with a graphite backed target and is available with the following nominal focal spot values: Small - 0.6 x 0.9 Large - 1.3 x 1.5 IEC 60336 Loading Factor for slit focal: Small - 120 kV, 200 mA Large - 120 kV, 200 mA Maximum Anode Cooling Rate: 16,500 W (23,100 HU/sec) Maximum continuous anode heat dissipation: 12,000 W (16,800 HU/sec) Reference Axis: Perpendicular to port face. This insert is intended for use in Varex Imaging B-903H housing. The MCS-757730 utilizes dielectric oil in the housing & HE. This tube needs to be coupled with Varex Imaging’s TCU-310400G (Generic).
