Description

GEATWIN is a static platform composed of two separate support surfaces for the evaluation of postural oscillations. The system measures the Center of Pressure (COP) both overall and for each foot, providing professionals with a quantitative and qualitative assessment. Technology - Thanks to the two separate plates, it is possible to obtain a detailed postural analysis and monitor patient progress over time. The platform evaluates stability in both symmetric and asymmetric orthostatic positions, according to dedicated protocols in the application software. - GEATWIN integrates six sensors placed at the vertices of the plantar support triangle, ensuring accurate detection of load distribution. - It acquires the Center of Pressure (COP) with 24-bit resolution and a frequency of 100 Hz, offering extremely precise measurement of postural oscillations, analyzed through standardized algorithms. - Each platform is equipped with an integrated laser system that ensures precise foot positioning and maximum reliability in measurement repeatability. - Its features make GEATWIN an effective tool for posturology professionals. Sensory-Motor Assessment - The GEATWIN Platform offers software with over 20 dedicated tests for stabilometric evaluation, with a range of protocols to analyze the subject's postural responses. Each protocol includes from 2 to 12 tests. - Basic Evaluation (BASIC) - Vertigo Test of Balance (VTOB) - modified – Clinical Test of Sensory Integration and Balance (m-CTSIB) - Vertigo Test of Balance with Cervical retroflexion (VTOB+CR) - Custom Posturography - Postural oscillations - These represent the micro-variations of the Center of Pressure (CoP) during upright standing. - Postural stability - Indicates the ability of the neuromuscular system to maintain balance and control the body's position in space under static conditions. - Asymmetry of foot load - Describes a non-uniform distribution of body load between the lower limbs, evaluated through the lateral displacement of the CoP or the percentage difference in pressure between the right and left foot.
