Product overviewThe VITLAB® TA² dispenser is designed for dosing in trace analysis where minimal trace‑metal release and high chemical compatibility are required. Media‑contact parts are manufactured from selected fluoroplastics (ETFE, FEP, PFA, PTFE), Al2O3 (sapphire), platinum‑iridium or tantalum depending on the variant. A validated pre‑use cleaning process reduces trace‑metal release to the low ppb range or, depending on application, to the ppt range.
Chemical resistance and valve spring optionsThe choice of corrosion‑resistant materials allows use with highly concentrated acids and bases (examples: perchloric, sulfuric, nitric acids). Two valve spring options are available: platinum‑iridium (Pt‑Ir) for applications with strong bases such as NaOH (up to 30%) and HF; tantalum (Ta) recommended for dosing hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). An optional recirculation valve minimizes reagent or sample loss. Volume is adjusted via a screw mechanism with internal toothed bar for fast and precise setting. DAkkS calibration certificate available on request.

Note on accuracyAccuracy and coefficient of variation in accordance with DIN EN ISO 8655‑5, related to the nominal (maximum) volume marked on the device at equal temperature (20 °C) of device, environment and distilled H2O. Tests performed according to DIN EN ISO 8655‑6 with the device filled to capacity and uniform, jolt‑free dispensing.
