Description

Overview
The Sartobind® membrane adsorbers are syringe‑filter format membrane devices for ion‑exchange and affinity chromatography. Ligands are covalently bound to the internal microporous membrane surfaces, delivering high binding capacities while the membrane pore structure enables rapid mass transfer and high flow rates. These single‑use capable devices eliminate column packing steps and are available for multiple reuses depending on process conditions. Offered in sizes with bed volumes from 0.4 to 2.8 mL.

Key features
  • Format: syringe‑filter style membrane adsorber
  • Bed volumes: 0.4 to 2.8 mL (multiple sizes)
  • Rapid mass transfer and fast flow rates due to microporous membrane structure
  • Ligands covalently bound to membrane surfaces for high binding capacity
  • Compatible with repeated use depending on cleaning/regeneration protocol

Applications
  • Purification of plasmid DNA and oligonucleotides
  • Protein and peptide purification
  • Purification of viruses and viral vectors
  • Enrichment of nanoparticles and extracellular vesicles
  • Removal of leached Protein A
  • Purification of monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) and antibody‑drug conjugates (ADCs)
