Overview
The sterile absorbent gauze swab is manufactured from 100% cotton for high absorbency and soft touch. Designed for surgical and wound-care use, it is available folded or unfolded and can be supplied with an X-ray detectable thread on request. Sterile, single-use pads are suitable for hospitals, clinics, emergency care and general wound management.

Function
The swab is engineered to wick fluids and distribute them across the pad for effective absorption. Pads can be supplied cut in special shapes (e.g. O or Y) to facilitate surgical use. Primary applications: absorbing blood and exudates during operations, wound dressing and cleaning.
