It enables third-party developers and integrators to connect applications to SlideStorage DX and CaseManager DX for efficient, controlled access to slide image data while protecting sensitive patient information. Deployable as a microservice on a local machine or hosted on a dedicated server, it serves clients using slides from shared network folders or SlideStorage DX, offering flexible deployment for diverse technical environments.

- Recommended: 10 Gb/s.
- High bandwidth is essential for fast performance when slides are stored on SlideStorage DX or when SimpleSlideInterface is hosted on a separate machine.
