Product overviewDiagnostic Applications (DAPPS) is a field-of-view-based image analysis platform tailored for rapid, targeted quantification and automated cell counting in diagnostic workflows. Designed for pathologists, it delivers specialized modules for key biomarkers, powerful segmentation algorithms with manual refinement tools, case organization and collaboration features, and on-premise deployment for enhanced data security and control. The software is intended as a decision-support tool for trained professionals and supports analysis of high-resolution digital pathology slides from FFPE tissue specimens and cytology samples.
Key features- Targeted, field-of-view image analysis focusing on specific tissue areas to provide precise, relevant insights for diagnostics.
- Comprehensive biomarker assessment via specialized modules (Estrogen, Progesterone, HER2, Ki67, GEPNET, PD-L1).
- Automated cell counting for high-throughput, standardized quantification to improve speed, consistency and reproducibility.
- Manual and semi-automatic adjustment tools allowing pathologists to refine segmentation and detection in complex or ambiguous regions.
- Calibration and standardization features with robust sample databases and quality-control protocols to ensure reproducible results.
- Automated case organization showing measurement results, charts and masked images within the pathology workflow to support diagnoses and collaboration.
- Secure on-premise deployment options to keep data locally and comply with privacy regulations.
Key quantification biomarkers- Ki67 – The Ki67 tool, now IVDR-Certified, measures the proliferation index on a selected region of the slide. (IVDR-Certified)
- Estrogen – Measures the Allred Total Score on a selected region of the slide. (Validated for research purposes)
- Progesterone – Measures the Allred Total Score on a selected region of the slide. (Validated for research purposes)
- HER2 – Measures the Field Score on a selected region of the slide. (Validated for research purposes)
- GEPNET – Measures the GEPNET score on a selected region of the slide. (Validated for research purposes)
- PD-L1 – The MembraneQuant-based Lung PD-L1 tool measures TPS score on a selected region of the slide. (Validated for research purposes)
