OverviewSTARLED3 NX is an LED surgical lamp providing cold light with high colour rendering, long lifetime and low energy consumption. It is suitable for operating rooms and a wide range of clinical applications including diagnostics, dental, gynecology, dermatology, general medicine and minimally invasive surgery. The lamp can be supplied with a monitor and with an FHD or 4K camera integrated in the central handle or on a separate arm.
Available configurations- Ceiling mounted (single, twin dome or combined with SOLED15, SOLED15-F and ACEMSO15F)
- Wall mounted
- Trolley mounted (ABPS battery on demand)
- In combination with monitor and/or video camera
Design and usabilitySTARLED3 NX is composed of three reflectors producing a well-blended and intense cone of light that can be focused via the control panel. The lamp is compact and ergonomic, easy to position and compatible with laminar flow in the operating room. The ENDO function enables use in endoscopic and minimally invasive procedures. The handle is removable and sterilizable for hygiene; lamp surfaces are designed for easy cleaning.
I-SENSE control panelThe I-SENSE control panel (STANDARD and v2016 versions) is ergonomic and easy-to-clean. With a simple touch it manages the main functions:
- ON/OFF
- Light intensity adjustment
- DoF – Depth of Field for deep illumination
- ENDO – light for endoscopy (minimally invasive surgery)
- SIZE – spot diameter adjustment to focus the operating area
- SYNC (optional) – synchronises controls of combined lamps (e.g., STARLED3 NX double / STARLED5 NX)
ABPS – Rechargeable battery powered system (trolley)ABPS is a rechargeable battery system compliant with MDR 2017/745 enabling STARLED3 NX to switch automatically from mains to battery power, providing a high-performance mobile unit. It recharges via an automatic charger, requires no specific maintenance and autonomy depends on the battery model. The trolley-integrated battery enclosure dimensions are 560 x 560 x 340 mm. A control panel on the trolley displays residual charge, supply type and recharge status.
CamerasSTARLED3 NX can be supplied with integrated cameras (in the handle) or mounted on a separate arm. Cameras are intended for documentation, intraoperative consultation, education and broadcasting. Available camera modules include:
- AC4K – 1/2.5" Exmor R CMOS, ~8.5 MP effective (4K), 16:9, 20x optical zoom + 12x digital zoom, automatic exposure and multi-format outputs (Full HD to 4K)
- ACFHD – 1/3-type HD CMOS, ~2 MP effective, 16:9, 10x optical zoom + 12x digital zoom, automatic focus and AE control, multi-format outputs (720p/1080p)
MonitorThe lamp can be supplied with an optional surgical monitor to display lighting system and camera images. Monitors are lightweight, compact and optimised for surgical image sharpness and colour accuracy.
