TBE electrophoresis buffer powder. 5.1 g vial makes 600 ml of 1X TBE electrophoresis buffer. Just add water! TBE Buffer (Tris-borate-EDTA) is one of the most commonly used buffers for DNA and RNA gel electrophoresis and is the recommended buffer for the blueGel™ system. May be used to cast gels and also as a running buffer. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS 5.1 g vial. Makes 600 ml of 1X solution (composition: 0.89 M Tris, 0.89 M Borate, 0.02 M EDTA). Dissolve powder in 600 ml of distilled or deionized water. Sufficient to cast and run 10 agarose gels for blueGel™ system. Powder stable at ambient temperature. Dissolved buffer recommended storage: room temperature for 3 months in airtight container.
