20X TBE electrophoresis buffer concentrate. TBE Buffer (Tris-borate-EDTA) is one of the most commonly used buffers for DNA and RNA gel electrophoresis and is the recommended buffer for the blueGel™ system. May be used to cast gels and also as a running buffer. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS 250 ml bottle. Composition: 0.89 M Tris, 0.89 M Borate, 0.02 M EDTA. Yields 5 L of 1X solution when mixed 1:19 with distilled water. Sufficient to cast and run 100 agarose gels for blueGel™ system. Stable for shipping at ambient temperature. Recommended storage: room temperature for 6 months (if precipitation occurs, warm up solution to re-dissolve).
