Trolox is a water-soluble analog of tocopherol (Vitamin E) which is a very strong antioxidant, commonly used to measure antioxidant capacity. Vitamin E is present in biological samples, like plasma, and food samples as a natural component of fruit, vegetables or oils.
Use this standard to compare BRS device results (µC or BRS Value) with the classical antioxidant capacity units of Trolox Antioxidant Capacity Equivalents (TEAC).
AGRI-FOOD SAMPLES: 3 vials of standard + BRS Electrolyte.
BIOMEDICAL SAMPLES: 3 vials of standard. It is recommended to use PB or PBS for calibration curves.
