Description
RNase Inhibitor (Ribonuclease Inhibitor) provides broad-spectrum inhibition of RNase A, RNase B, RNase C and human placental RNase. The ~50 kDa recombinant protein binds RNases noncovalently at a 1:1 ratio. The product was purified from human placenta using a combination of ion-exchange and affinity chromatography. Concentration: 20 U/µl. Does not inhibit RNase T1, S1 nuclease, RNase from Aspergillus, RNase H or RNase ONE™. Suitable for RNA-handling applications, particularly reverse transcription when eukaryotic RNase contamination is a concern.
