Product Overview
PureColumn DNA Extraction Kit provides a rapid and easy method for isolation of up to 25 µg genomic DNA from eukaryotic cells, whole blood and bacteria recovered from canned and processed food samples. The kit is also applicable to milk and milk-derived products such as milk powder, cheese and yoghurt. Extraction is based on reversible binding to a silica-based filter membrane combined with mini-column spin technology. For gram-positive bacteria, lysozyme is used to ensure efficient lysis. Isolated DNA is highly pure and suitable for downstream applications including PCR, qPCR and sequencing. RUO – Research Use Only.
