Versatile
The LabFlame IR can be operated via the touch-free IR sensor, button function, or foot pedal*. Different programs are available for all operating options, developed based on practical experience: flexible start-stop functions, continuous operation for up to 2 hours, or short flame-sterilization programs timed to the second. When the burner is activated, the display shows the remaining burning time.

More convenience with the graphic display
The animated, high-contrast graphic display is easy to read under all lighting conditions thanks to its blue backlight. The self-explanatory, language-independent symbol menu enables quick selection of all functions. If the display is not within your line of sight, acoustic signals provide additional guidance.

Cooling-time reminder for inoculation loops
The precisely adjustable cooling-time reminder, accurate to the second, helps ensure compliance with the required cooling period for inoculation loops.

Zero-pressure shut-off
The zero-pressure shut-off provides additional safety at the end of operation. It releases residual pressure from the connection hose and extends the service life of the gas hose.

Temperature regulation for heating media
With the new temperature regulation system and an optional temperature sensor, the laboratory gas burner becomes a temperature-control station.

Gas consumption display
No new cartridge at hand? The gas consumption display reminds you to have a fresh gas cartridge available in good time.

Flexible and individual with user accounts
The LabFlame IR has two user accounts and saves safety settings, burning times, and other parameters for individual and flexible use.

Graphic installation instructions
Graphic installation and operating instructions displayed when the device is switched on for the first time facilitate initial setup.

Innovative – the DoubleClick IR sensor
This safety function ensures that the burner can only be ignited by activating the DoubleClick IR sensor twice. This makes unintentional ignition caused by accidental activation, such as by falling or dropped objects, virtually impossible and significantly increases safety.

Top-of-the-line safety
The Safety Control System SCS© provides state-of-the-art safety technology that continuously analyzes potential hazards and, if necessary, initiates safety measures such as interrupting the gas supply. In addition to ignition and flame monitoring and overtemperature protection, the safety package also features continuous burner-head control (BHC). BHC reliably detects burner-head blockages caused by liquids or solid substances and ensures correct assembly of the burner head.

Additional passive safety features include a residual-heat display to protect against burns. The automatic unit shut-off function prevents unintentional ignition if the burner has not been used for an extended period.

Modern design
The unique shape is eye-catching. The low-profile housing allows for convenient operation, while the streamlined design minimizes disruption to the airflow above a cleanroom workbench. The LabFlame IR is extremely space-saving, measuring just 103 × 49 × 130 mm (W × H × D).

With the DualKnob for adjusting gas and air flow, the flame can be precisely regulated. The removable burner head can be completely dismantled for thorough cleaning. Clogging is easily prevented: spilled liquids drain through an integrated drain, while solid substances can be effortlessly removed by opening the burner shaft.

Environmentally conscious
Excellent energy efficiency in accordance with the latest standards reduces gas and power consumption. This extends the operating time when using gas cartridges.

The LabFlame IR Series can be operated with stationary natural gas, propane/butane gas supplies, gas cartridges, or gas cylinders.
