Product overviewAlginate lyophilizate is a versatile biomaterial widely used for drug delivery and for engineering tissues such as bone and cartilage. The kit is supplied sterile and ready to use. Dissolve the powder in the recommended reconstitution buffer to reach the desired concentration for applications including 3D cell culture and bioprinting. Alginate hydrogels can be ionically crosslinked using a sterile crosslinking agent containing calcium ions.
Key notes- Minimum 9 months shelf life
- For research use only. Not for human use.
Applications- Low-viscosity formulation compatible with the BIO X EMD Printhead to generate microspheres
- Component of an extrudable bioink enabling ionic crosslinking
- Use with FRESH LifeSupport powder as a support bath for embedded printing
- Post-culture cell harvesting for analysis using Cell Collect A Bioink Lysis Reagent
Recommended useRecommended for extrusion-based 3D bioprinters such as BIO X and INKREDIBLE+.
