These x-ray bone densitometer are certified in the European Union under Medical Device Regulation 2017/745/EU by SGS BELGIUM NV (CE1639) exclusively for the indication to perform X-ray bone densitometry examinations. Other non-medical uses (orthopedics, bone age, Cobb angle and sarcopenia) ascribed to this device are not within the scope of CE certification, and users should be aware product performance and/or safety has not been evaluated by SGS BELGIUM NV for those purposes. 3D‑DXA
Optional 3D‑DXA capability converts routine BMD images into 3D visualisations of the femur, separating cortical and trabecular compartments to support advanced risk estimation and clinical decision making.
