Product descriptionA citrate tube, also known as a blue top tube, is a vacuum blood collection tube containing a sodium citrate anticoagulant. It prevents coagulation by chelating calcium ions, allowing accurate measurement of coagulation parameters such as prothrombin time (PT), activated partial thromboplastin time (aPTT) and thrombin time (TT).
