Product Overview
The tube is dispensed with separating gel and clot activator. This tube is used for blood collection and storage for biochemistry, immunology, element trace, various types of virus detection and other clinical tests. Invert 5-6 times after blood collection, and wait for 30 minutes before centrifuge. Centrifuge shall be set as 1500-1700 RCF for 10 minutes.

Usage and Performance

• Gel and clot activator tube is used for blood serum biochemistry, immunology and drug testing.
• Coagulant is uniformly sprayed on the inner surface of the tube to greatly shorten clotting time.
• Imported separation gel is a pure substance with stable physicochemical properties and good high-temperature resistance, maintaining gel stability during storage and transport.
• After centrifugation the gel solidifies to form a barrier separating serum from fibrin and cells, preventing substance exchange and improving serum collection efficiency.
• Keeps serum stable for more than 48 hours with no obvious changes in biochemical properties and compositions; tubes can be used directly in sampling analyzers.

Handling & Centrifugation

• Invert tube 5-6 times immediately after blood collection.
• Wait for 30 minutes before centrifugation (general instruction).
• Suggested centrifuge settings (from product information): either 1500-1700 RCF for 10 minutes OR 3500-4000 r/min for 5 minutes (both values provided on the product page).

Storage & Shelf Life

• Recommended storage temperature: 4-25°C.
• Shelf life (varies by material and type): typically 1-2 years depending on tube type and labeling.
