Description

Product overviewClenbuterol-Ractopamine-Salbutamal triple rapid test dipsticks are fast, easy-to-use immuno-chromatographic strips for the qualitative detection of Clenbuterol, Ractopamine and Salbutamal residues in urine samples. They provide rapid results without instrumentation and are intended to support food safety and regulatory screening in agricultural and veterinary contexts.

BriefThis product is used for on-site screening of Clenbuterol, Ractopamine and Salbutamal residues in urine samples without instrumentation. Total test time is approximately 5 minutes. Simple operation and high analytical sensitivity make it suitable for preliminary residue control in livestock management and inspection workflows.

Detection limitClenbuterol: 3 ng/g (3 ppb)
Ractopamine: 5 ng/g (5 ppb)
Salbutamal: 5 ng/g (5 ppb)

Specifications30 tests/kit

PrincipleThis rapid test strip is an immuno-chromatographic assay using colloidal gold. It is a competitive format: residues in the sample compete with the analyte immobilized on the test (T) line for a limited amount of dye-labeled antibody. Sufficient drug concentration in the sample will reduce or eliminate the T line intensity (positive). Negative samples (drug level below detection limit) will generate two visible lines at T and C.

Contents
  • Test cassette: 30 pieces
  • Manual: 1 piece
  • Dropper: 30 pieces
  • Desiccant: 1 piece per bag

Sample preparation
  • Urine: use clear, fresh and uncontaminated urine.
  • Do not test urine immediately after cold storage; bring to room temperature before testing.
  • Collect urine in a clean, dry plastic cup without preservatives. If urine is turbid, centrifuge at 4000 r/min at room temperature for 5 min and test the supernatant.
  • If testing is delayed, store urine at 2–8 °C for up to 24 hours; for long-term storage keep at −20 °C and avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles.

Operation procedures
  • Return test cassette and sample to room temperature before testing.
  • Take needed strips and use within 1 hour after opening the pouch.
  • Place test cassette on a flat surface; apply 2 drops of sample using the dropper (or approximately 80 μL using a micropipette) to the sample well.
  • Wait 3–5 minutes and read the result; results remain valid up to 10 minutes.

Test result interpretation
  • Negative: red T line appears — residue absent or below detection limit.
  • Positive: red T line is invisible or extremely faint — residue above detection limit.
  • Invalid: C line (control) not visible — cassette may be expired, damaged or incorrectly used; repeat the test with a new cassette.

Precautions
  • Each test cassette and dropper is single-use only to avoid cross-contamination.
  • Do not touch the white membrane area; avoid direct sunlight and strong drafts during testing.
  • Do not use tap water, distilled water or deionized water as negative controls.
  • If a positive result is obtained, repeat testing with a new kit to confirm and follow local confirmatory testing procedures.
  • Variability between samples may cause T lines of light or gray color; only clear red color is judged as negative.

Storage and expiry dateStore at 4–30 °C in a dark, sealed, dry place. Do not freeze. Expiry: 12 months; production date is printed on the box.
