Description

We’re excited to introduce our NEW bioabsorbable headless compression screw Inion CompressOn™! The Inion CompressOn™ screw family contains a wide range of sizes (Ø 2.7 mm–Ø 6.0 mm, lengths 12 mm–90 mm). And all the screws are cannulated. These are a few reasons why the Inion CompressOn™ screws are really versatile and easy-to-use products that can be used in a wide range of indications in the areas of upper and lower extremities. These resorbable screws are also strong and safe, the material of Inion CompressOn™ is oriented resorbable copolymer of LPLA/DLPLA. Bioresorption takes place within two to four years. Inion CompressOn™ is a CE-marked medical device (Class III), manufactured by Inion Oy. The conformity assessment was conducted by BSI The Netherlands (CE 2797). Benefits of Inion’s bioabsorbable headless compression screw High strength to meet the challenges of demanding orthopaedic fixations Wide range of resorbable screws: more freedom to operate (Ø 2.7 mm- Ø 6.0 mm, lengths 12 mm-90 mm) Provides quick fracture reduction and constant compression for optimal bone fixation Headless design enters fully inside the bone to minimize bone damage, no countersinking to avoid soft tissue irritation to enable normal physiological functions All screws are cannulated Transparent and radiolucent, no MRI limitations Reliable, safe, easy to use and fully resorbable Indications The Inion CompressOn™ offers excellent fixation stability and durable fracture alignment maintenance. It can be used to treat comminuted fractures, osteotomies, arthrodeses or bone grafts in the presence of appropriate additional immobilization.
