OMNYS ANALYSERMicroarray Data Interpretation
The OMNYS Analyzer is the proprietary software backbone of the OMNYS ecosystem. Meticulously designed for professional laboratory environments, it transforms microarray testing devices pictures into clear, reliable, and ready-to-use clinical insights. It combines precise quantification with robust data security and can fit with numbers of bioanalytical applications.
Automated Image Processing Workflow: Each well analyzed by the OMNYS Analyzer corresponds to a single microarray testing device, each associated with a specific layout: 1 spot = 1detected analyte and/or control. The software contains a powerful algorithm that processes each image through a structured, 6-step pathway:
- Loading: The pictures and related information (Sample ID, test ID, device batch numbers, reagents references…) are loaded from a secured database.
- Grid Alignment: From test ID, the software identifies specific markers in the testing device picture to determine accurate grid alignment. A predefined grid is overlaid on the image, aligning each grid cell perfectly with the corresponding spot position.
- Intensity Measurement: The relative greyscale intensity, is measured over a 100–200 μm probe spot area and compared to background in order to calculate an index for each spot
- Quality Control: Quality criteria are rigorously evaluated for each spot of each well. The system automatically generates warnings if any criteria are not met.
- Data analysis: From index and pre-defined cutoff each spot can be categorized as (-); (+/-) or (+)
- Final Validation: Processed results are clearly presented to the operator and can be exported in pdf or csv format.
Key Features and Advantages:Digital Image Conversion: Seamlessly transitions physical device images into a highly precise digital grid, measuring the exact gray levels of individual antibody spots to determine antigen presence.
Automated Scoring: Automatically calculates an INDEX score for every spot, categorizing reactions as Negative, Positive, or To Be Determined, standardizing interpretation across the laboratory.
Smart Anomaly Detection: Automatically identifies and flags artifacts such as dust particles in yellow, while allowing the operator manual review capabilities for final validation.
High-Level Security: Features a multi-tiered access architecture. Laboratory technicians and
system administrators are granted specific access levels, guaranteeing data integrity and confidentiality.
Absolute Traceability: Ensures complete tracking of all performed operations, from user logins and metadata logging to the secure archiving of the final validated results for future reference and compliance.
