Product descriptionBuffered Formalin Concentrate 5 is supplied as a concentrate to prepare 10% Neutral Buffered Formalin. Mix one part concentrate (1 gallon) with four parts water (4 gallons) to produce a five gallon batch of 10% Neutral Buffered Formalin. Preparation requires only pouring one gallon of concentrate into an empty five gallon carboy and filling with water. Intended for laboratory fixation of biological tissues following institutional safety and handling procedures.
Application / Instructions- Mixing ratio: 1 part concentrate (1 gal) to 4 parts water (4 gals) → yields 5 gallon batch of 10% Neutral Buffered Formalin.
- Use a clean, empty five gallon carboy for dilution; stir gently to homogenize.
