Description

Gracey curettesGracey curette 7-8Model: 15824 A Gracey 7-8 by MA Dental is a versatile instrument and can be used on buccal and lingual surfaces of molars and bicuspids. It has a shorter shank than Gracey 1-2 and 3-4. It has a C6 solid, stainless-steel handle. Gracey curettes are one of the main instruments used for scaling and root planning. Gracey curettes are especially ideal for subgingival calculus removal because the design of the instrument allows for better adaptation to the anatomy of the roots. Standard Gracey curettes are generally used in a set to scale the dentition completely. The offset blade of standard Gracey curettes provide the best working angulation for the surface of the tooth.
