Overview
The ChromaLine camera is a chromatic confocal line-scan system for non-contact surface measurement and inspection. It combines chromatic confocal microscopy principles with a high-speed 4K line detector to produce sharply focused profiles across an extended depth of field (up to several millimetres) while acquiring up to 199,500 lines per second. The system removes the need for complex Z-scanning or autofocus on samples with significant Z extension.

Detailed description
ChromaLine integrates a slit illuminated by a polychromatic white LED source (external Chromalight box), a chromatic lens, a beam splitter and a high-speed line detector (SW-4000M-PMCL). The optical configuration delivers a focused image and accurate height profiling across an extended depth of focus. Typical acquisition capability reaches 199,500 lines/s depending on configuration.

Minimum lateral resolution can reach 0.43 µm on the sample depending on optics; maximum acquisition rate is 199,500 lines/s. OEM-customized versions are available for specific integration requirements.
