Safety note
Footrests on chairs are intended as support for the patient’s feet during examination. During transport footrests may be raised; after installation they must be left open and used when the patient is seated. Do not move the chair with the footrest in raised position. Ensure patient limbs and head are clear of moving parts (chair movement, armrests, table top, phoropter arm) during operation.
