Overview
The ER-WD223™ Endoscope Sink is a Class I medical device designed to support healthcare personnel during the manual washing of flexible endoscopes. The device automates and ensures traceability of washing steps, reducing repetitive operator actions and the risk of error. It is compliant with EN ISO 15883 part 5 annex F for removal of microbial biofilm.

Main functions

• Double-controlled leak test performed at start-up and throughout the washing cycle to prevent instrument infiltration.
• Automatic detergent dosage via internal pump to dose concentrated detergent into the tank and reduce waste/overdosage.

ER-WD223/TEE — Specific features
The ER-WD223/TEE™ is designed to support manual disinfection of echo-transesophageal (TEE) probes. It automates disinfection using the correct amount of peracetic acid powder and is validated to EN ISO 15883 part 4 annex F for removal of microbial biofilm.

• Automatic disinfection using peracetic acid-based disinfectant and automatic drainage at cycle end.
• Disinfectant powder validated for removal of microbial biofilm (e.g., MDD HMC 9).
• Disinfection with forced recirculation and vortex insertion into the basin.
• Automatic water dosage and automatic rinsing phases.
• Dedicated support that holds the body of TEE probes outside the washing basin to prevent contact with disinfectant liquids.
