OverviewAT-BAG™ envelopes are an MDG patent designed to ensure the aseptic transport of endoscopes and transport trays. Gamma-ray sterilized, AT-BAG™ fully encloses trays and lids to eliminate contamination risk from the surrounding environment.
Key features- Complete protection of trays and lids during transport by full enclosure.
- Gamma-ray sterilization for aseptic packaging.
- CLEAR CLEAN / DIRTY printed signaling for immediate status identification.
- Enables reuse of the same tray between clean transport and return to reprocessing without contaminating the work area when used as specified.
- Patent-protected MDG design.
Cycle / Use steps- 1. Insert the tray into the dedicated AT-BAG™ and close; position the endoscope.
- 2. Insert the lid into the dedicated AT-BAG™ and close.
- 3. Place the lid on the tray (CLEAN side) prior to transport to the endoscopy room.
- 4. Use the transported instrument in the endoscopy room.
- 5. After use: a) place the contaminated instrument into the tray; b) rotate the lid to the DIRTY side; c) place the lid on the tray.
