SALVACEL® mittens are designed to safely immobilize the hands of non-agitated patients, thereby preventing self-injury, aggression, or unauthorized manipulation of clinical equipment. Their installation is quick and easy thanks to the hook-type fastening system. They are made of high-strength, breathable polyester mesh fabric, which provides effective hand restraint. They incorporate breathable and hypoallergenic interior and exterior padding composed of 8 mm polyester foam, an inner layer of viscose fiber, and an outer layer of soft polyamide velour (274 g/m²). Additionally, they integrate a 3 mm PEHD splint for greater stability, polyester straps with a breaking strength of up to 160 kg (1560 N), and a D-shaped polyamide ring to facilitate anchoring.
