Salvafast® Wrist Restraints are designed for the safe containment of the upper limbs while the patient is in bed or on a stretcher. They help prevent aggression, self-harm, tampering with medical equipment, and potential falls, offering an effective solution in clinical environments where it is necessary to temporarily limit patient movement in a controlled and comfortable manner.
They are made from soft and comfortable neoprene, ensuring pleasant contact with the skin even during prolonged use. Fixation to the bed or stretcher is achieved through magnetic-release safety locks, which provide a reliable and permanent attachment to the frame. The patient’s restraint is applied using a double Velcro® system, allowing for quick, simple, and adjustable positioning.
The system is available in two formats:
– Salvafast® Wrist Restraints (individual): supplied as a pair of independent wristbands, allowing flexible attachment depending on the care setting.
– Salvafast® Wrist Restraints Monoblock: version with wrist restraints sewn onto a central band, designed for direct and more stable fixation to the bed. This format increases safety and comfort by minimizing movement and making patient control easier.
