Product OverviewsediMAX conTRUST PRO is a fully automated urine sediment analyzer from A. Menarini Diagnostics, designed for clinical laboratories to prepare and evaluate urine samples. The system integrates bright-field (BF) and phase-contrast (PC) microscopy within a single optical module and captures dual-mode images with a built-in digital camera. Fifteen images per sample are acquired using a dual focusing technique and evaluated by a neural network for particle identification and classification.
Key features- Fully automated, walk-away operation for routine laboratory workflows
- No liquid reagents required; uses single-use cuvettes only
- High throughput: up to 150 samples/hour
- Low sample volume: standard and pediatric modes
- No carry-over or clogging due to closed cuvette handling
- User-friendly software with intuitive operation and QC tools
- Automated quality control analysis and maintenance procedures
- Pediatric mode for reduced-volume samples
Imaging and analysis capabilitiesThe system combines BF and PC imaging to enhance particle recognition and morphological detail. Dual-view allows side-by-side comparison of BF and PC images. Adjustable brightness and dynamic zoom are available. Quantitative results are reported as particles/μL or number per high power field (HPF).
Improved particle detectionsediMAX conTRUST PRO refines detection of particles and morphological subtypes. It can identify and flag specific RBC subtypes (e.g., RBC-Aca, RBC-Ghost); the RBC-Aca flag is configurable. The analyzer detects mucus, amorphous material and includes a bacteria differentiation module to rapidly separate cocci-like and rod-like bacteria.
ModelsAvailable in two product references with identical analytical performance: REF 49156 and new-design REF 59093 (REF 59093 adds a STAT position, optimized rack orientation and a dedicated aisle for modular chain integration).
MultimediaProduct page includes embedded demonstration videos for the instrument and modular chain, plus a multimedia gallery showing BF/PC dual views and example detected particles.
