Description

Product overview
sediMAX LITE is a professional semi-automated urine microscopy analyzer that acquires whole-field microscopic images of urine sediment and automatically classifies and counts sediment particles. The system applies the traditional gold-standard microscopy approach while removing the most time-consuming and operator-dependent steps of manual microscopy, and can be used as a backup to fully automated sediment analyzers.

Analyzable samples
  • Urine
  • Cerebrospinal fluid (liquor)
  • Ascitic fluid
  • Pleural fluid
  • Pericardial fluid
  • Continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis (CAPD)*

Notes
*Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.

Key features
  • Produces whole-field microscopic images of urine sediment
  • Automatic classification and counting of urine sediment particles from recorded images
  • Retains traditional microscopy method while eliminating time-consuming manual steps
  • Capable of analyzing multiple body fluids beyond urine (see analyzable samples)
  • Manual microscopy mode: real-time view of any cuvette field (suitable for motile microorganisms)
  • Intuitive operation with minimal training required
  • Suitable for small laboratories and emergency departments
  • Cost-effective: no liquid reagents or calibrators required
  • Flexible software for data management, result validation and reporting
