Product overview
Compact tube furnaces of the RT series for laboratory and process applications requiring horizontal, vertical or angled operation. Adjustable tilt angle (0–90°) and working height allow flexible positioning; compact design enables integration into existing process systems. Models include RT 50/250/11, RT 50/250/13 and RT 30/200/15 with Tmax options up to 1500 °C.

Standard equipment

• Tmax 1100 °C, 1300 °C or 1500 °C
• Compact dual‑shell ventilated housing in textured stainless steel for low external surface temperature
• Insulation using non‑classified materials per EC Reg. No 1272/2008 (no RCF)
• Vertical or horizontal operation infinitely adjustable; angle 0–90°
• Working height infinitely adjustable
• Operation possible without stand if safety guidelines are observed
• Ceramic working tube C 530 including two fiber plugs for operation under air
• Type S thermocouple
• Low‑noise operation using solid state relays
• Heating wires wound directly around the working tube for 1100 °C and 1300 °C models (very fast heat‑up)
• Radial heating elements around the working tube for 1500 °C models (facilitates tube exchange)
• Control system integrated in furnace base; controller B510 with touch operation (5 programs × 4 segments)
• NTLog Basic for process data recording via USB flash drive
• Defined application within the constraints of the operating instructions

Additional equipment

• Over‑temperature limiter with adjustable cutout temperature to protect furnace and load
• Gas supply system 1 for non‑flammable process gases (e.g. N2, Ar, He, CO2, forming gas)
• Process control and documentation via VCD software package for monitoring, documentation and control
