The OsteoMed Spectrum Maxillary Distraction System is a distraction osteogenesis system consisting of distractor frame, bone plates, threaded rods, and an activation instrument. The plates attach to bone using bone screws and then gradually distract the osteotomized segment via activation of the threaded rod with the activation instrument.
The internal design of Spectrumtm LeFort III does not require an external halo device or distraction wires resulting in ease of surgeon use
The internal design provides enhanced patient quality of life and safety during the different phases of distraction
Activation points are easily accessible
The Spectrumtm LeFort III can be used for either a LeFort III distraction or a combination of LeFort I and III distractions
